The intensive care unit looks after patients who are critically ill and need continuous monitoring — after major surgery, with severe infection, breathing failure or heart problems. Each patient has an individual care plan and is reviewed by the medical team throughout the day and night.
Families receive regular updates from the doctors. Visiting is limited to protect patients from infection; please ask the ICU desk for current visiting times.

Arrive 15 minutes early with old prescriptions, reports and X-ray or scan films.
Lab, imaging and the pharmacy are on site, so most tests can be done the same day.
